IWC Schaffhausen

 IWC Schaffhausen  stainless steel rare BIG oversize  36mm watch well running automatic  featuring IWC's high grade in-house Caliber 8541B automatic movement with 21 Jewels and date function in near mint condition.  This is very same movement also used in the famous IWC Ingenieur.  This is truly an outstanding movement and considered the best produced by any Swiss manufacturing house at the time. This example is understated and elegant and shows how IWC Schaffhausen was a leader back in the day making some of the most valued and sought after dress watches.

The stainless steel case measures 36 mm diameter without the crown and 42.5mm from lug tip to lug tip. The style of the case is referred to as a "Super Shock proofing" case. In essence, the movement is housed in a smaller, inner case that nests inside the outer case for extra shock protection.. An original stainless steel crown with the signature IWC logo completes this near mint watch. 

This one also features a beautiful mint silver dial with black and silver markers and pointers and date window at number 3 position. Signed with a  bold applied stainless steel 'IWC' at 12 o'clock.  This watch appears to have been worn on special occasions only as the watch and case is in excellent near mint condition with original plastic backing still intact.  You will look and feel very elegant and self assured when you move up to an IWC Schaffhausen watch.
