ROLEX-ROLCO 9K Gold cushion case

ROLEX-ROLCO in a fine 9K Gold cushion case hallmarked in Glasgow to 1935. This is a manual wind watch with a Rolex caliber 700 movement with 15 jewels. Rolco was one of several brands made by Rolex at the time. 30mm diameter x 33 mm lug to lug. Fine and perfect white original dial with clean and clear black Arabic numbers, black hands and sub seconds dial at number six position. Above the dial centre point is the signature ‘Rolco’. A contraction of ‘Rolex Company’ the Rolco trade name was first registered by Rolex on 15th September, 1927. Dedication inscribed on watch case back from the University of Glasgow. The body of this watch including case and bezel is self contained as you can see in the pictures. It is a very well made and beautiful example of a vintage watch of investment value to be worn with pride. Black leather strap.
