Rare Omega Speedsonic Chronometer Chronograph “lobster” in stainless steel. Watch has just been totally serviced. A battery powers the F300 Tuning Fork caliber 1255, 12 jewel movement, the same technology used in Bulova Accutrons. The mirrored dial is perfect and the Hesalite crystal (acrylic) has some surface scratches from wear. The rest of the case and bracelet show average normal wear scuffing. Back of watch is a stainless steel screw back with a relief Seamaster logo.
Watch dates to 1974/75. This model is the rarest and most desired by Omega collectors. It is referred to as the “Lobster”, because the bracelet resembles a lobster tail. It looks unusual, but it is actually very comfortable. It’s futuristic, unusual and cool! We are sure the wearer will garner lots of comments on this most interesting chronograph. This is a watch that should be included in a collection of classic watches without question. Case thickness is 14.5 mm. Case size is 43mm x 43mm without crown. You will truly enjoy this freshly serviced iconic watch.
