WALTHAM RIVERSIDE POCKET WATCH

WALTHAM “RIVERSIDE” Man’s size 16 Sterling Silver open faced pocket watch.  Excellent well running and beautiful 17 jewel model 1889 Riverside grade has a fancy ornamented  movement as you can see with gold jewel cups and  gold screws.  It is signed and fully adjusted.  Dial is perfect and white  porcelain with black Arabic numbers surrounded by red five minute marks.  The hands are blued spade pointers and there is a seconds hand at the number six position.  Sterling silver case is beautifully hallmarked for Birmingham as well as the maker who was Alfred Bedford, the manager of Waltham for London.   Case has an open shield on back ready for your initials.  50 mm diameter.
