WALTHAM Sterling Silver Pocket Watch

W5617

Waltham P.S Bartlett  Sterling silver man’s  open faced pocket watch in excellent running condition.  This is a fine quality big and hefty sterling silver case measuring 55 mm in diameter and has a very rare two color white and off white double sunk dial with a ring of Roman numbers in black  surrounded by a red five minute track and a 2400 hour track centered within the two.  The spade pointers are copper color and there is a seconds hand at the number six position.  This great looking dial is signed American Waltham,  as is the movement.  The movement is a 17 jewel adjusted model P S Bartlett named after one of the early employees of the Boston Watch Company which later became the Waltham Watch Company.  The case is a screw back with a folk art style design engraved on the back.  This is a very unique watch and you will definitely enjoy wearing this one and looking at this dial or as a fine piece for the collector.   We have provided watches and chains to the Vintagers Club.
