WALTHAM MEN'S POCKET WATCH

WALTHAM “RIVERSIDE” Man’s size 16 silver hunting cased pocket watch.  Excellent well running and beautiful 17 jewel model 1888 Riverside grade has a two tone fancy ornamented  movement as you can see with gold jewel cups and  gold screws.  It is signed and fully adjusted.  Dial is perfect and white with black Roman numbers surrounded by red five minute marks.  The hands are blued spade pointers and there is a seconds hand at the number six position.  Silver case is beautifully engraved with a house scene and trees inside a border of leaves and ornamentation.  Very seldom do you see a silver man’s watch with such lovely engraving.  The back is also beautifully engraved with designs and leaves with a pair of scrolled initials in the center.  This really very impressive engraving from the 1890’s that is so rare now.  52 mm diameter.  This watch is in fine condition all around and you will be proud to wear this great looking collector’s timepiece.
