ENGLISH Silver Man's Pocket Watch

D4111

English sterling silver case holding a fine Dimier Freres Swiss pocket watch. This watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement with 16  jewels, which is working well.  The movement is protected by sterling silver  inner hinged cover. The perfect white dial has thick Roman numbers and gold spade pointers.  There is a seconds dial at number six position.

The watch  measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The very attractive double hinged  case is sterling  silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1915 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The case is in very good condition with just a couple of tiny indentations to the back of the watch which add to the vintage look.  The back of case has an open shield surrounded by a design and  ready for initials.  Add a silver vintage chain and imagine how elegant you will look wearing this watch.  We have provided vintage watches and chains to  members of The Vintagers Club over the years.
