JW BENSON Silver Demi Hunter Pocket Watch

JW BENSON Silver demi-hunter pocket watch in excellent condition after having just been serviced and movement is sparkling. JW Benson is a highly prestigious London jeweller who also made watches and by warrant were the watchmakers for HRH Queen Victoria. This beautiful and collectible watch is a 17 jewel signed JW Benson with Swiss movement. JW Benson, as well as using quality English makers also used fine Swiss makers such as Tavannes, Revue and Longines. Case measures 50mm diameter and you can easily tell the time by the glass opening on front cover without opening the case. Dial is perfect, white and clean with heavy black Roman numbers, black spade pointers and sunk seconds at number six position. Blue enamel Roman numbers on case front are perfect with no wear. Sterling silver case shows only minor tiny scratches and very little wear for a watch of this age. All British hallmarks on inside covers. A very handsome JW Benson demi hunter.
