ELGIN man’s B.W.Raymond Railroad grade 15 ruby jewel 14K gold filled hunter case watch in a size 18 (56 mm diameter) is near mint and in fine running condition. Recently serviced. This is a lovely watch both inside and out with a perfect white and excellent dial with black Arabic numbers and fancy black fleur de lis pointers. This is a very beautiful and collectible watch we strive to find for you. Watch has a seconds dial at the number six position and this double sunk dial is surrounded by red five minute marks. Movement has a patented regulator and is adjusted to temperatures and 3 positions.
The movement has 15 jewels, is a railroad grade class C with nickel finish and is sparkling, lever set and pendant wind. The case is 14K gold filled in very fine near mint condition with a lovely conservative but dressy machined engraving on both sides and an open shield for your initials. Back of case has a tiny ding but this watch is 127 years old and still looks fantastic.
There is no doubt you will be very proud to carry, collect or present this fine Elgin to your man or graduate. Comes with a velvet bag as always. Ashton-Blakey has provided watches and chains to members and executive of the Vintager’s Club of America.
