ELGIN 14K Gold Pocket Watch with Chain

ELGIN 14K heavy solid gold lady’s antique pocket watch in fine running condition with a 50 inch 14K gold  antique Victorian  slide chain with seed pearl set slider.    This watch has a highly engraved case with an open shield on one side and a rose on the other all surrounded by fancy designs on the edge of this stunning pie crust case. 

The movement is a lever set, 13 jewel model 1,  grade 45, going barrel with a ¾ nickel plate and US patents #77078 and gold jewel settings.  The dial is perfect white porcelain with Roman numbers and black spade pointers. Sub seconds dial at number six position.   Watch is 40 mm diameter (1 & 9/16”).  This watch has the original Victorian  chain that was used with it and is lovely, delicate and suits the style of the watch entirely with its gold and seed pearl slider.
