Here we have a superb turn of the century Hamilton 941. Hamilton focused on producing many open-faced railroad standard pocket watches. This upscale rare, size 18 original hunter-cased Hamilton Pocket Watch Railroad Grade 941 c.1912 is one of only a limited number made.
This Hamilton well running and serviced 941 is housed in a gold filled stunning case with a beautifully engraved scene with a horse as main feature with a pastoral background. The back features an open shield for your initials and a beautifully engraved scene surrounding the shield. All edges of the watch are engraved. The dial is flawless with strong black Roman numbers and black spade hands and dial has Hamilton only logo with red five minute markers. This perfect dial is double sunk and has a seconds hand at the number six position.
The Hamilton Pocket Watch Railroad case’s rear plate opens to a dust cover protecting the movement, revealing 941’s stunning movement, decorated with antique damasking and gold lettering. This 941 is a model 2 lever set with gold screw down 21 ruby jewel settings and adjusted to five positions and temperature.
