SOLID 9K GOLD J W BENSON POCKET WATCH This is Swiss made J W Benson  for the English market which comes in an English 9K gold open face case which has clear gold assay marks and hallmarks for Birmingham 1936

The movement is   gilt ¾ plate movement with  a lever escapement and is signed “J W Benson, 15 Jewels, Swiss Made” and is in beautiful and sparkling, well running  mint condition and is stem wind and stem set.  

The case is a solid 9K gold open face case by Benson, which has a hinged back and snap on bezel. The case has a smooth plain finish and is in lovely condition that appears to have been used only on special occasions.  

The perfect white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is signed “J W Benson, London, Swiss Made.” The dial is in 100% mint condition

The watch measures 49 mm diameter x 14 mm deep. 

The watch comes in a leather silk and  navy velvet lined J W Benson box.
