BIRKDALE man’s open faced size 12 Pocket Watch

BIRKDALE man’s open faced size 12 pocket watch, just serviced and in fine running condition. Off white and very aged dial signed Birkdale in gold under the number 12. Black elongated Arabic numbers in the Art Deco style. Sunk seconds dial at the number six position. Beautiful and sparkling 21 jewel Swiss movement and timed to six positions. Birkdale and Eatons watches are highly collectible as Eaton's was a very large trans- Canada chain of family run department stores for many years and Canada’s answer to Macy’s. Eaton’s had many watches made for their private company under the house brand of Birkdale, some of which were made by Longines and other fine Swiss watch houses. Nice 14K gold filled heavy Cashier case with four initials on back. Very good looking pocket watch. 1 & 5/8 “ diameter. Comes with black velvet bag.
