Original Omega Speedmaster Sets New Auction Record

An Omega Speedmaster 2915-1 “Broad Arrow” previously sold for $275,000 late last year in Sweden, but this past weekend, we saw the same reference cross the $400,000 mark ($408,500 to be exact) setting a new record for this highly coveted original Pre-Moon Speedmaster.

We have been saying for a long time that the early Speedmasters would begin to shoot up in value and it looks like the time has come.  If you want a quick refresher on the Omega Speedmaster then click have a look at our visual guide to the complete line of Omega Pre-Moon vintage watches
