OMEGA ART NOUVEAU POCKET WATCH

OM3427

Omega Art Nouveau hunting cased pocket watch. Stem wind and stem set. Heavy sterling silver English hallmarked case. Lovely white dial with two mild hairlines and black Arabic numbers with blue spade pointers. Sunk seconds dial at number six position. 15 jewel Omega signed movement in good running condition. This is a rare and very collectable watch being an Omega from a very special time period. Very deeply engraved sterling silver case with a type of flowers and pontils which were synonymous with design of the Art Nouveau (New Art) movement. Back of case has a date of July, 1913 in French scrolled in shield. The hinge on one side seems to have been repaired and works fine and the other hinge, while being a bit loose, still works. We did not choose to do any repairs to the hinge. Inside of silver case shows British hallmarks and is signed with the Omega logo of the time.
