Dial is signed Breitling under the top register but it is etched into dial so therefore difficult to see in photo, but it is there. Chrome metal case in good condition just showing normal wear with back signed with the following ordnance Stop Watch, MIL-W-5605A, Ser.No. 043, MSN 6645-00-811-3812, part no. AN 5742-1, Cont .No. Namsa H5244. Case is 50 mm diameter. Excellent black dial with white Arabic numbers, outer chronograph track, white hands with minute recorder at 12 and sub seconds at 6 pm position as well as a white sweep second hand, ¾ plate nickel movement adjusted to three positions with Micrometric regulator. Movement bridge marked Breitling Watch Ltd. 3 Three adjustments 18 Eighteen jewels, Swiss. Inside of case marked Breitling Watch Ltd. Swiss. This is a fine and RARE example of a wartime chronograph ordered by the US services from one of Switzerland’s premier manufacturers and we believe the only one from Breitling.
