ENGLISH sterling silver open faced pocket watch with CHAIN.  Watch in excellent running condition.  White enamel dial is in perfect  good condition and signed A. Yewdall,  Leeds who was the original retailer. Black Roman numbers,  Blued steel spade pointers and subsidiary seconds at number six position as well as an outer  minute track make for this great looking dial. The watch has a stem winding 15 Jewel movement with 3 adjustments, signed Recta,  which has fishscale damaskeening and is sparkling and bright.

The case is sterling silver with hallmarks of Birmingham  and the maker Aaron Dennison inside both the movement cover and the case back.  Case measures 50 mm diameter.  The outer case is in good condition with engine turned detail and a few tiny dings which actually just add to the vintage look of this case.

This is a very good looking vintage English Sterling pocket watch that  definitely looks superb with a the fine  sterling chain attached which is hallmarked on each link and has a very good looking sterling fob with tassel.
