WALTHAM HAND PAINTED DIAL POCKET WATCH

WALTHAM gold filled massive  size 18 man’s hunting cased pocket watch.  This is an outstanding watch in that the dial has been painted many years ago by a professional artist with the figure of a fox and its three babies, in keeping with the theme of the case which has the engraving on the back of a pointing hound used in fox hunts.  The front of watch has an open shield ready for your initials and design engravings all around the case.  This is an exceptional piece either for a fox hunter or for a collector who wants an amazing piece of art on a beautiful watch.  This well running pocket watch has a 17 jewel, adjusted movement  and is a PS Bartlett model with a full damascened plate.  Dial has black Roman numbers and blued pointers.  Watch is a stem wind and lever set.    55mm diameter – 2 1/16 “.  This is a fine and collectible watch.
